Hi Everyone,
I am trying to investigate a repeating issue with my Atik 11000M camera and EFW3 filterwheel in Sgpro.
The issue is that the camera is randomly getting locked up when the remaining exposure reaches 0 second. It doesn’t happen when I am not using the EFW3 filterwheel. Moreover, power cycling the filterwheel “releases” the camera, but the image gets lost…
Atik support is stating that the camera and filterwheel are interlocked in their driver. It means the camera cannot continue when the filterwheel is not ready.
I have tested my setup in Dusk - and I couldn’t repeat the lockup there. So it has something to do with the way the ASCOM drivers are working/treated I believe.
My question is here: how is SGPro reacting to this “interlocking”, I cannot find a real clue in my logs.
You can see an example of this lockup in my log: timestamp 07/20/21 00:27:31.236.

For better understanding these are the steps I am doing when the lockup occurs:
- I click on “Pause” to pause the sequence. This doesn’t have effect, SGPro hangs.
- I power cycle the filterwheel. This let me pause the sequence.
- I disconnect and reconnect the filterwheel.
After these steps I can mostly continue the session, but it is almost sure that the lockup keeps happening in irregular intervals.
I would be very happy when someone could point me to the right direction. I have closed out the “usual supects” like USB cable or hub, I have tested many cables and hubs. I have even completely reinstalled my PC and it still keeps happening. The only fix point I have at the moment that power cycling the filterwheel gets me further, but than I loose my completed frame anyway…
