Clarification of Slaving Options in Help File

I see the following text under “Slaving Options” in the Observatory Panel section:

    • Mount Park Closes Shutter - When the mount is parked the shutter or roof will be opened
      • Park Mount First - This is used to park the mount before parking the mount before parking the observatory.

Is this correct? I would have thought that this should read that the shutter or roof will be closed, not opened.

Yes, likely a copy/paste error. The behavior is that

Mount Park Closes Shutter - When the mount is parked the shutter or roof will be closed.

I’m not even sure what happened here :-/

Park Mount First - This is used to park the mount before the roof/shutter is closed on the observatory. Otherwise the mount park and observatory closing happen simultaneously.

Excellent, thanks Jared. I was on the right track but with this sort of automation it pays to be sure. I have actually given it a run this evening (my time in Oz) and it works well. I am using the Sky Roof controller to control the obs open/close and an external weather sensor to drive the safety function.
