I have an SBIG STT-8300M. I have been connecting to PhD using the SBIG SGP ATP (ascom) option, but that fails to properly identify the resolution of the tracking camera within PhD. If I use the recommended “SBIG” option on the pull-down list in PhD, then I cannot connect to SeqGen Pro. It does not matter if I connect to PhD first, or SeqGenPro. It appears that SeqGen cannot support the SBIG option within PhD.
Correct. That is the basic problem. It appears that, even if I try to connect within the SeqGenPro Autoguider tab, it will not allow separate connections to the two cameras.
Agree. That is what I have been doing. But PHD, in its recent releases, now downloads camera parameters that are used in its calibration routines. The SGP API guider doesn’t download those parameters correctly. this is a relatively new problem I think, caused by changes to the SGP softwre.
