What’s the current status of syncless centering for Celestron mounts that have inaccurate gotos? I’ve seen posts where the devs were switching around the Offset and Offset2 methods. I’m now confused about what works and what doesn’t.
I have recently recommended a fellow astrophotographer that he try SGP, and he reported back that he’s unable to get decent accuracy with autocentering on his CGEM DX. I hope he got the trial version and didn’t buy it outright.
