I found out by accident that if one sets Gain/Offset values too low in his CCD (during the process of determining these factors) SGP takes an awful long time to download the images and in fact it seems to me that it freezes!!
This is likely more an issue in your driver. What camera are you using? Are
you using an ASCOM driver for your camera?

I am using QHY9M…but EZcap has no difficulty downloading the files…I will verify
The gain and offset for the QHY are set through the ASCOM driver. SGP has no idea that these have actually changed so to SGP there should be no difference. You might want to disconnect and reconnect the camera between changing the gain/offset in the driver. SGP will allow you to access the settings while the camera is connected, but not all devices handle that well. It’s probably best to disconnect the camera, change the gain/offset values and then reconnect to SGP.
If you’d like to post a log we can take a look to see if there is anything going on there.
