Failed to meridian flip after change the location

My SGW failed to meridian flip after I moved my equipment to another observatory. It always worked fine in the previous observatory and the two observatories are not far. I didn’t change anything in the configuration. “Minutes Past Meridian to Flip” is set to 8 minutes (2 degrees).
HEQ 5
SGP 2.6.1
ASCOM 6.1 SP1
EQASCOM V2.00k

When performing auto centering, it looks the mount is not moving at all (but it works before meridian flip or I manually execute it after the meridian flip)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is an issue with your sync settings, there’s tons of threads with the same proble so try looking through them for a solution.

Thank you Xplode for the answer. I changed the sync behavior from ‘sync’ to ‘target offset’ according to another thread. I Will test and see if it works in the next clear night

Did you change your location both in EQMOD and in SGP?

hi JeroenM, yes, both are changed.

I found below line in the log

[04/19/21 02:58:04.935][DEBUG] [Center Scope Thread] Error in auto center update thread, Thread was being aborted.
No idea what happened.
But after I changed the sync behavior from “sync” to “target offset”, the meridian flip succeeded today.
I’m a bit worried if it is really resolved :frowning:
