Hello.
I’m using the latest beta and after the flip I noticed the frame was off by quite a bit( few hundred pixels)
Plate solving didn’t fail. This is the first time the frame wasn’t aligned after the flip. I noticed after stacking the images. Any ideas what caused this?
I saw in the beta discription something about scope offsets. I never changed any settings, could it be possibly related to the offset changes?
I found after installing the latest beta that the Synch option changed in my equipment profile from “Synch” to “Offset” and I had a similar experience to you after a flip: the Offset was fighting my model. I simply changed back to “Synch” in my equipment profile and perfect pointing and centering was restored
Ya… reinserting these options after removing them caused weirdness in the selection.
Not sure about this. The purpose of “Offset” is to provide location convergence without the need to sync the mount (and therefore it avoids fighting with the mount’s model). The likely cause of this is that there are parts of the “offset” routines that are not yet polished.
I’m not sure on this one… You are indeed using the normal telescope “sync” behavior.
