Moving line on SGP's taskbar entry

Windows 11 puts a short line under a process’s task bar item and widens the line when the process is the active one. The line moves when SGP is taking a picture and stops moving when the picture is done.
This morning the line was moving even when SGP wasn’t “doing” anything - the sequence it ran ended several hours ago. I got the following screenshot as the line was moving:


Any idea why the line is still moving? It continued moving even after I disconnected all equipment.

 

After restarting SGP, the task bar looks like this.
I couldn’t find anything in the log file indicating why the SGP logo is missing:

Once I took a test image and it appeared, the task bar entry showed the SGP logo.

It is a mini-progress bar attached to the main windows progress bar on the lower left corner. You’re saying it gets stuck in a bad state?

I would call this an “incorrect” state rather than a “bad” state.
The missing logo I’d call a “bad” state.

Not sure about the missing icon. I think it can happen in a condition where the windows taskbar “stacks” its child windows and one of the children doesn’t specify an icon. Have any child windows open?

No child windows open. It happens as soon as SGP starts, before any equipment is connected.
