If I add an additional argument to the file name such as camera temp, can that made the default for all future sequences. This is something I seem to forget to do until I go looking for it in the finished lights.

Tools > options > general options allows you to do this.
Also, it can be specified as part of the profile, which is helpful if you want different naming conventions for different equipment load outs.
