SGP desktop icon missing - anyone know a fix?

Sometimes when I update my SGP installation I find that the icon is missing and it defaults to a generic icon. When I click on properties in Win 7 x64 and click the Change Icon button I get a cryptic error message:

Windows can’t find the file
%SystemRoot%\Installer{A0EF2…\NewShortcut1_LONGSTRINGOFCHARACTERS.exe

Not a big deal (clicking on the default icon launches SGP) but it would be nice to have my icon back. Anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah this happens to me too. The icon is missing from your shortcut, so just delete the current (generic) shortcut and create a new shortcut from the SequenceGenerator.exe in program files.

Currently I use a batch file (.bat) to start both SGP and ansvr so I’ve done away with the SGP icon.
