SGP v2.6.0.25 - Crashes when loading

Got a bit of a problem which i need some advice on please. I’m in the process of re-buileing my imaging laptop. When i came to install SGP, i initally downloaded v.2.6.0.25 but it crashed as it started to load. Uninstalled and installed v 2.6.0.24 and that seems to work. Tried .25 again and it crashed staight away. This is the log

I am bumping this up again - I would like to highlight the problem to the Mods/Devs here.

I would have hoped some form of reply might have been given as it states on your website this is the only place where support will be given.

Have a look at this thread, which describes how to “reset” SGP. I believe you will lose all your current settings, so try this at your own risk, and I’m not even sure if it will help in your case.

You could also try installing the v3.0.0.4 beta.

Tried everything in the thread. Uninstalled, SGP, deleted all reminants left behind - even scoured the laptops registry.

Reinstalled .25 - Instant crash when loading. Uninstalled .25, re-installed .24 and it works fine as before.

Something I noticed in the log fragment that you posted was that the system thinks that you are using the SGLite free license. I don’t know if you expect that or if it’s significant.

Otherwise the last message says that a device is not ready, could the system be expecting something that should be present but isn’t because you are in the process of rebuilding your system?

I’ve got it sorted now. I had tried so many things… It was easier to start the whole build from scratch. Formatted and re-installed WIn10 Enterprise… ASCOM then SGP… Registered the machine and it fired up first time.

No idea what happend in the first instance… Glad is was a new build without too much config in the first place.
