Have you thought about spinning your filter wheel 180° on its attachment, so that the big part is up? I had to do that, and it works fine for clearing the mount. Doesn’t affect the operation of the wheel at all.
Archer1960 - sorry I suggested that one already and it wouldn’t fly.
Picking up on one of the earlier threads and reading through the NINA process, I guess it would be fairly easy to check out the logic for our own mounts to see if a simple stop/delay/slew would work.
I am assuming one would simply stop a sequence and stop tracking a mount before the meridian, go make a cup of coffee, return when it had passed the meridian and then hit slew and center, as the SGP meridian flip would do.
It would be interesting to see if anyone’s mount fails to do the flip.
