SGP should be able to open the shutter and slew the dome just fine. Just make sure that the option to only open/close the shutter at park is disabled. it’s also possible that something changed here. I’ll double check it.
As for the other things we’d need logs. Although it does seem suspect that things were working fine, firware was updated and then things stopped working:
