Upgrade question

I am currently running version 2.6.0.12. If I upgrade to the most current version, will I lose my equipment, user and sequence profiles. Thought I saw somewhere that you have to delete the current version, can’t just upgrade. I have numerous equipment profiles and sequence schemes that I would hate to do over.
I have been getting numerous freezes when focusing and downloading images lately.

You shouldn’t. However since we did change installers I would HIGHLY recommend backing up those settings as a “just in case”. However I’ve done multiple installs and have not had them get wiped out. But this is certainly a possibility with the installer switch.
