I’ve been using SGP for deep space only and this m81 is a work in progress , will it do planetary too ? I’ve been wondering ? It would certainly be a time saver if I didn’t have to reconnect in another capture software when I use the plate solve module to get my target . Instead , I turn off my mount and have to run through a 2 star alignment and a precision alignment to get to the target taking my camera out each star to center with an ep and then center with my camera and 5x setup. I don’t know that’s why I’m asking , I tried going to Jupiter one night last week and it just closed down without disconnecting the equipment and that has me wondering.
