3.x License Deactivated

Hi.

I am running the latest version 3 SGP. For some reason I am being told my trial period has expired. I have tried providing my license key and it is not getting accepted. What do I need to do?

Thanks

The problem went away. But here is what may have happened:

I cleaned up the content of folder \AppData\Local\SequenceGenerator as I occasionally do. Licensing problem then appeared. Then I placed back all that I had taken out of that folder and the license problem went away.

This is strange to me because as I said I have done the cleanup before. But if a file in this group keeps license information, which file is it?

The license key is not a thing that should be posted publicly (I deleted your second post). If you find that you now have other people using it to activate SGPro (and preventing you from doing it), please email us at support@mainsequencesoftware.com and we’ll get you new one.

Good point, thanks for protecting it.

In the folder I mentioned, is there a license registry or something?

Yes, there is ‘.dat’ file with encrypted license info in that folder.

Thanks. I should be careful with that then.

It doesn’t matter. SGPro will just recreate it if it’s missing.

I wonder why it didn’t in my case.

Hello everyone, I also have Farzad’s problem, but again in a different form: I can log in with my last license, but can no longer open a start sequence that I created, and all my device settings are no longer available. So I get a virgin surface.
Well, ok so far, because I updated to Win10.
So I enter all my data again, save everything. However, at the next start I have to start again with the license.
What broke there, lightning struck somewhere? (Joke …)
