Being a user of SGPro 2x, and betas, I purchased the new SGPro 3 and had a chance to do some imaging all night. There’s obviously some fixes and tweaks still needed as will always be the case with software this complex, but I thought I’d just input here that SGPro 3 worked perfectly for me. It did its thing, going through sequences and centering targets, taking images, refocusing as needed, switching filters, starting/stopping autoguiding as needed and the pier flip was flawless, picked up where it left off and kept going. I think it’s evolving very nicely and accomplishing imaging tasks very well given the complexity of everything that needs to come together and work properly. Having tried other software out there, SGPro, IMO, is quite intuitive compared to other programs. I am quite happy with SGPro 3 and look forward to seeing it develop in the future.
Hi Shawn,
can you tell me, if my previously used profiles from Version 2 will be available in Version 3?
I read the instructions as I have to download and install the SGP completely new. So I am unsure if it does know about my profiles, but I would like to keep them.
Thanks!
I had no issues upgrading. My profiles remained good.
