Add HFR and number of stars as a file name option

Hi Guys,

I notice SGP already reports HFR and number of stars per image - it would be great if that meta data could be added to selectable icons for file naming options.

Ideal I would like my file names to include:
number of stars
HFR
Guiding quality and
Sky Quality (like ASTAP gives you when you solve an image and run SQM tool)

The goal is to make it easy to spot at a glance after a nights imaging which are likely to be your best and worst images from the file name itself.

Many thanks,
Matthew

Sure, things like this are easy. I added

%sc = star count
%sm = start metric (like HFR)

Id image history is not enabled, these values will print as NA in the file name.

Brilliant Ken - that was really quick!

I take it these features are available in the current beta v1498 release 10th Feb - correct?

Many thanks,

Matthew

Works perfectly!

Now if there were only a way to get guiding accuracy from PHD as a file name option (i.e. <0.5 arc seconds great, < 1" arc sec good, <1.5" < decent, <2.0"workable else bad!) life would be excellent!

Many thanks,

Matthew

Quick update - I notice the number of stars fails about 1 time in five - whilst the star chart and star size always had its data populated… any idea why the data isn’t getting across to the file name?

No ideas off hand, but I’ll take a look. Did that happen in a totally automated environment or were you maybe interacting with SGPro around the time of the “misses” (especially interactions with the current image where you may have toggled star metrics on and off aor anything like that)?
