AF based on environment sensor temperature

Could we get a addition to the Auto Focus function that will let us trigger based on a temperature change in the environmental sensor instead of the internal sensor on the Auto Focuser? For my setup I want to trigger the auto focus routine when my ECCO2 shows a change in the temp, also I don’t want to have the extra cable that is needed for the Senso Sesto 2 to monitor temperature. To be clear what I am thinking is a pull down on the auto focus setting screen to let us choose the input device to monitor for temperature change.

As far as I know, this feature is supported by SGP since implementation of temperature compensation. This is a section of the SGP manual (chapter Control Panel/Equipment, Other Equipment, Environment Devices):

Thank you for pointing this out to me, and yes this is exactly what I was looking for.
