All of the sudden fail to slew during meridian flip

I have been successfully using v2.4.1.1 for awhile now but for the past week something weird has been happening that when SGP attempts to meridian flip it solves fine but does not slew which then causes an error and it aborts. I then have to go into the sequence menu click on slew now which works fine, then center here which works fine again and then resume the sequence.

I updated to latest beta which didn’t change anything, I did use the new plate solve2 feature though thinking it might help but it didn’t.

The meridian flip starts around 1136pm.

Everything was working before but all the sudden I am getting this error and nothing was changed on the laptop or the equipment setup which is why this is really confusing me.

I am not sure. Your mount does not support flips using the traditional method so we use an alternate method where we simply issue a slew command when you scope is pointing past the meridian. The logs indicate SGPro did this successfully.

As you can see, the slew completed in 1 second so the mount did nothing to attempt to flip. This usually means that SGPro thinks your mount is past the meridian and EQMOD does not.

We don’t know too much about EQMOD. You may want to read this and see if it helps:

Something with a physical setting or whatnot…

Thanks, now that I think about it EQMOD has been acting wonky my lately(been losing PEC randomly) Thanks Ken I will take a closer look at EQMOD.

I had the same problem as you. I use EQMOD for my HEQ5 and am using V1.27l. When I went to setup and changed the mount to physical everything worked ok after that. Hope this helps.
