Allow autoflats to continue after no response from mount

Hi there,

Is it possible to have SGP continue with autoflats, even if it does not receive a response from the mount that it is homed? Maybe after 20 seconds or so? My situation is a Gemini 2 controlled MI-250 mount that, if already at the home position, hangs the autoflats routine indefinitely, but if it is elsewhere, it works.

I’m not following here… are you saying that AutoFlats attempts to home the scope but the scope never reports it’s finished or something else?

Hi ,

yes that’s it. This is happening on the latest beta, and when the scope is already in the “home” position, where the mount is at a “park” setting and requires a goto command to get out of park and slew. But it does not need to. SGP is seeing it as “telescope failed to home”.

This mount “ stay at park unless given a goto command” setting helps me by keeping the scope in the cwd position at power on.
