I have been trying out a Fornax Lightrack. It is remarkable. I used SGP to take a sequence of 10-min subs with a 430mm FL refractor. Polar aligned with an EQ5 polarascope. It’s about a foot long, couple of pounds and runs for a few hours before it needs resetting. I needed to add a counterbalance kit for the ZenithStar. Here’s a crop at full resolution of the EOS 60Da. I have just batch processed it in PixInsight and done a rough color balance and stretch. Nothing sinister like decovolution. I’m planning a trip down to the Canary Islands and this is going to be in my suitcase.
I measured its PE - it is less than my Paramount MX after PEC!
