Angle rotation

The latest version of SGP is missing the setting for the camera rotation angle (without a rotator). I remember that in previous versions it was in the “camera” settings in Equipment Profile Manager, but now it’s gone.
Now, every time I need to create a sequence on an object (frame and mosaic wizard), I have to set the rotation to 98 degrees.

Can you restore this setting?

This field has not been removed, but rather moved to a new location. It was never a great idea to have this in the camera tab as it is not a property of the camera. As such it was moved to the Plate Solve tab as Equatorial Angle. This likely means that that field has no value in the current sequence and, if you are applying an equipment profile, those never save any version of that angle ever.

All that said, the request here is not really about the field or the philosophy governing Control Panel organization but rather “just make MFW easier”. In the spirit of this, the next version of SGPro will automatically save last used angles and mosaic panel overlap and auto apply them for you when a new canvas is loaded. It may not always be right, but if you’re pretty consistent about using the same angles and overlap for most targets, it’ll be useful most of the time.
