It is a good idea to occasionally check the folder where the ASCOM logs are written. If you have been imaging for a while and have accidentally enabled logging on one or more of your ASCOM devices, that folder could have hundreds or even thousands of log file entries. I have also found that some ASCOM device drivers do some logging even when the option to enable the trace file is unchecked.
It is perfectly safe to delete these files as they are informational only. These log files are written to:
Documents\ASCOM
Charlie
