Auto center after merdian flip is failing

I am using SGP 3.1.0.544 and having difficulty doing a auto-center after meridian flip. I use the ASTAP plate solver for its quick solving. I am not sure where to look as the logs says it failed right after solving with plate solver ASTAP and aborting immediately after it. Any insights would be helpful.

We have limited visibility on plate solve failure. That said, assuming plate solving has worked for you in situations where a flip hasn’t just completed, it is likely due to the flip introducing enough error in the mount’s position that the hints supplied to the solver are no longer close enough the actual location. This isnt terribly uncommon and can be overcome by using a blind solve backup (ANSVR) where accurate hints are not required.

I have the Ansvr as the Blind solver in the configuration and have used it for a long time. Wondering why it was never invoked. I did a plate solve and found the telescope pointing somewhere else as shown in a red illustration. image

I had the mount polar aligned 2 months ago and have not moved since then.
