Auto Meridian flip with ZWO AM5 mount

Description

<I have run into a problem when using SGP with the AM5 mount from ZWO. Everything works fine except the automatic meridian flip. When the mount passes the meridian and a flip should occur (no delay set) the mount simply stops including stopping its activated tracking. I can then pause the SGP sequence and do a manual flip of the telescope after which I can resume the sequence. But it would have been nicer if the automated meridian flip had worked. Is this a known issue?

A log for the night is enclosed and the automated flip was supposed to occur at about 22:02.>

Useful Info

OS: <Windows 10 Pro - 22H2>
Ver: <4.4.1.1441>
ASI Mount version driver 6.5.21.0

I have been struggling with the same issue. I have finally solved it at least for my rig and 300s frames. I don’t know if these settings will work for you, but they do for my AM5n with a ZWO FF107. Second screen grab is really to note the ‘5 degrees after meridian’ setting. Good luck.

Thanks! It seems reasonable that it is a setting in the AM5 mount driver that interfers with the automatic meridian flip. I will try this.

If it doesn’t work, try extending the minutes past flip to 5mins.
And the ASI software to stop tracking at 6 degrees.
