Hello,
since the last beta release the auto stretch does not work properly with some of the frames I captured following the exposure time … very strange. Auto stretch works with AF 2x2 or 2x2 and framing (1x1) with short exposure, (30sec) but not with 5min exposure (during sequence or manually using a right click). Re opening (file/open image) the 5min frames do not solve this problem. May be a bug
Thanks
Pascal
PS : I cannot upload the fit file
here is a single screenshot showing the result of a manual stretching …
We did change a few things for testing purposes around stretching images with overscan regions. Please upload a few of your images to drop box and we’ll take a look.
Hello,
here is a link to download an image that does not stretch properly :

Hello,
any news from this issue ? the new SGP release have the same behavior, my 300sec bin 1x1 images are not stretched even when re opened after imaging session. Ken, do you try this?
Regards.
Pascal
I downloaded the file to play around with it, but it has since been removed and I can’t find it among my local files. Can you provide it again?

I took a look at your image and I think it is auto stretching normally. Your 300s sub shows a lot of signal in the unstretched image, so auto stretch doesn’t see the need to change the white point. The dark point is adjusted properly.
In almost all of the images I take there is no clear signal in the unstretched image. Again, your image shows a lot of signal in the unstretched image which is why I think it is actually stretching properly.
I took a look at the image and I can confirm that when I restore the old auto stretch behavior your image no longer fails to find the proper white point. I will need to tweak it a bit to support stretching for images containing overscan regions without breaking existing images.
Hi Ken,
thank you.
Regards.
