Autostretch Function

Hi All,

I apologise in advance, I have been away from my Astro stuff for 3 years as my wife passed, so trying to get my head back into things.

Apart from more cobwebs in my brain and I know I asked this a long while ago, but if you can bear with me, it woudl be appreciated.

I have moved and have also reinstalled my laptop for my portable kit, so getting all the equipment sorted out and I am having an issue with my frame and focus images.

As I am having to set everything uip again and running w11 with the latest version 4.4.1.1441 my images are blowing out to a white screen, even with the autostretch function set to none.

A 10sec image is almost washed out and a 2 min image is almost completly washed out and a 300s sub is just white.

Even selecting none to stretching the image is still the same.

I’m not sure if my camera has a fault or if I am missing something, but any help would be much appreciated?

Many Thanks.

Are you taking pictures of the night sky? And there are no other lights nearby that may be hitting the sensor?

What is your gain?

Hi,

Yes I am taking images of the night sky, gain is 90, bottle 4 skies.

Hi.
We had the same issue with guide camera in a small observatory. That was due to a security camera emitting in infrared during the night.
Do you have a surveillance caméra in the vicinity?
