My canon 5dmkiii connects to the program fine, ran a test sequence once, now it gives error that the camera is busy. Tried rebooting, no effect. No other program is connected to camera. Cannot figure it out.
Problem solved. It would seem that you cannot use the silent shutter setting. If you do, it will make the program think camera is busy. Please fix this. Using silent mode, plus mirror shake delay will increase the image quality by reducing any camera shake.
Are you using mirror lock with silent shutter? We’re just asking the camera to fire the shutter so I’m not sure why we’d need to do anything different here. Unfortunately this is something that we’ll likely need a camera to replicate so it will probably be a bit before we can troubleshoot this.

It turns out that it was not mirror lock + silent shutter, but just the silent shutter setting. I had mirror lock off. I can always loan you a camera as I have two.
