Any idea on how long until SGP will support the Canon EOS R7?
Sadly I don’t have an R7 to test with. But I’ll update the Canon SDK which would take care of it. Give me a day or two to test and it should be in the release or the beta.

That would be great. There are very few R7s out there right now and I bought mine for Wildlife with telephoto lens, but It might be a fantastic astro camera with its APS-C 32mp sensor. If you get it supported in a beta, I would be glad to test it.
It will be out in the next 4.2 release…probably in a week or so.

Jared, Does the …918 release have the Canon R7 support? and would you like me to test and maybe collect logs and such?
I went ahead and tried the R7 and It connected fine after I verified that it would connect to the Windows 11 pc with USB cable. I did a test with SGP 4.2.918 using a camera only profile and took 3 images of different exposures. (using a 15mm lens) It worked flawlessly as far as I could tell. Here are a couple of screen shots for you. log file wont upload here though. How can I get it to you?

I did send the log just now as an open issue, which is the only way I saw.
