SGP connects to my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and takes photos with the specified ISO value. It also uses the specified Exposure value if that value is less than 1 second. 1 second or longer and the exposure is 30 seconds. The ASCOM DSLR driver does not have this problem, but it does not produce raw (.CR2) files. I checked the mirror lockup setting on the camera and the settling time in SGP (lockup = disabled, settling time = 0). Changing these made no difference. Exposures of 1 second or longer are always 30 seconds.
Can you send us a log where you’ve had this issue?
Also what happens if you attempt to take a 1 minute exposure? Does that also only take a 30 second exposure?
Thank you,
Jared
Also check to make sure that your camera is in Bulb mode. I’m guessing that may be the issue.
