I generally have no issues with plate solving but last night my target was the Rosette Nebula. The initial goto put the target in the frame, the first attempt at plate solving worked, then it tried to move a tiny bit to get the target centred and this image would not solve! There was virtually any difference between the frames…
Today I opened a sub and tried to plate solve it, it still fails - I can use blind solve and it works but even then, putting the details of the blind solve into PlateSolve2, it still wont solve.
Now normally this would not bother me as I have it set to fail over to blind solve after 100 attempts but this also does not seem to work and it just keeps ticking up.
Anybody any idea whats wrong?
