Celestron Focus Motor disconnect problem

Dear support,

I have hit a very strange problem with SGP 3.2.0.660. I’m using the Celestron Focus Motor. It connects and operates fine, but when I disconnect it crashes SGP. I have tried this with several different machines running SGP, different USB cables and the same thing happens every time, It has never been an issue before. I thought it might be the driver, but it disconnects fine under NINA.

Please advise

Cheers

Peter

Unfortunately the logs don’t show any errors so I am not really sure. Are you certain these are the correct logs? Have you tried re-installing the mount software (including its ASCOM driver)?

Not using a Celestron Mount. I’m using the ASCOM Celestron Focus Motor Driver. Ive reinstalled SGP, the driver, used different USB cables and laptops. Problem remains. Connects fine and control works, but disconnect crashes SGP. I’ve also tested it using NINA, and connect and disconnect work fine. It’s very strange.

Can you please connect, then move the focuser, then disconnect. I think the logs you sent were the wrong ones as there is no attempt to connect to the focuser. Make sure to not send the “Current Session” logs.
