I dither after every frame but I have a lot of wind here that blows the scope. This makes tracking exceed the limit: “Restart current frame when a guider error is > x.x px”. The frame is restarted including dithering again. Besides being annoying, this unnecessarily wastes time while the extra dither is settling, in my case typically 30 seconds or so. The Dithering Options state “after every n frames” but in the case I described, no frame has been taken so it would seem that no dither should occur.
