Should I be dithering both axis or just one?

I dither on RA only, mostly to save time.

It seems the mount takes forever to settle on the Dec axis. I have seen others phd2 plots that also looked horrible in Dec taking a looong time to settle back down.

So the answer is, depends on your mount.

I’ll definitely try it with and without just to know for sure. My mount is an AP1100GTO.
