Does zero exposure mean zero?

I inadvertently created a sequence with several events some of which were zero duration exposures. However, when the images were presented, there still appeared to be a non-zero exposure. Is that what actually happens in SGP? It was confusing because there was still an image so I thought there must be some problem such as the filter wheel not moving in time for the shutter. If a sequence includes an exposure with zero duration, should that not throw and error? Or, if not, does it take a minimum duration exposure? I do not find mention in the User Manual of what happens in this event.

0 (and really anything below the minimum that the camera supports) will result in a frame that is the minimum value that the camera supports.

A real value of 0 would mean that the shutter technically doesn’t fire.

Thanks,
Jared
