Dome slave sync time

Dome software is Digital DomeWorks.
Slaving within SGP “works”, but seems odd.
There is a delay of up to 45 seconds or more between a telescope slew and the dome moving to match the orientation of the telescope.
Is there a setting in SGP to encourage a faster sync?
