ERROR message when opening SGPro

Hi all.
Each time I open SGPro, I have this error message twice:
“Please select the model in setup”.
I do not know what it is about.
When pressing “OK” bouton, SGPro starts normaly.
Version is 4.4.1.1441 (64 bits).
Unable to create a new topic and send this message via “Report a problem” in SGPro.
Have a nice day.
JM.

Have you used a 64-bit version of SGP before? If not, you may have a 32-bit driver which won’t work with a 64-bit SGP. That could be causing both messages on your screen.

This also happens to me using the 32 bit version

I am unsure what that message is, but it doesn’t come from SGPro. It is coming from one of your ASCOM drivers, but I am not sure which. You can narrow it down by selectively deactivating gear in your sequence and then re-opening the sequence or restarting SGPro until it goes away.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to help much when you find an answer, but it will tell you to whom you should contact for a fix.

The bottom line is that drivers should NEVER EVER interact with the UI unless it is very clearly stated in the specifications (e.g. ASCOM settings dialogs). In all other cases, a driver should only ever report errors to the consuming client (SGPro in this case) and make no attempt to assume it is appropriate to show the user any type of message.

Do you have either a Pegasus Falcon Rotator or a Wanderer Cover flat panel? I started getting these messages after adding both of those to my setup but I don’t know which is causing it.

Hi.
Yes I own a Wanderer Astro flat panel and since I have installed it, I have the same message twice when opening SGPro.
But I don’t care. Just cancel these messages and run my sequence.

I think I recall that more recent versions of the driver’s no longer attempt to interact with the UI.
