I would find an option to stop and restart imaging within a single event very useful. For instance, I have a number of foreground trees in the way at moderate elevations. It would be good to be able to stop imaging for, say, 15 minutes, while the object rotates across the tree. Then imaging could resume within the same event without having to set up two separate events.

This is actually on our current backlog. We have already added custom horizons to SGPro so the idea is that you would build the custom horizon for your imaging site and save it to your user profile. Then, whenever you add a target to image, the Planning Tools module will display the target’s transit across your specific horizon. Right now, this is all informational and does not alter the sequence, but the end-state goal here is to actually identify when the target will disappear behind horizon objects and auto-pause the sequence. In this way you never have to worry about the minutia and tedium of calculating these things every time for every sequence.
In general, the idea is that, if an image cannot complete before becoming obscured, it will pause until it’s once again visible.
Thanks Ken. That would be even better than what I have suggested. A one and done solution instead of having to define the limits each time. Looking forward to its full implementation.
