I was more than a little annoyed when I updated SGP only to find after 2 weeks of imaging that my file names no longer had the filter name attached. The filter name or number should absolutely be a default option in the naming convention. I’m guessing that most people here shoot mono. I’ve lost around 70 hours of imaging time. My data is such a complicated mess that it’s just not worth trying to figure out which frames came from which filter. Could you PLEASE insert the filter name as the default? I’m sure you will save many hundreds if not thousands of people from the same heartache I experienced!

The filter name should be in the FITS header which could help you sort your past frames.
In Windows File Explorer you can right clock on the heading and select *Filter to display the filter.
Going forward, in the Sequence window of SGP, add %fe to the File Name where you want it. Do the same in Tools - Options, the “Custom file name pattern” field.
