FITS Header: FOCALLEN

Hi.

I have noticed that on some of my FITS images out of SGP the header includes a value for FOCALLEN and on some of my other images this parameter isn’t even included.

CCDInspector needs this value to determine image scale.

What do I need to do to ensure this parameter is included in the FITS header?

You’ll have to input this value in SGP, Telescope Control Panel, Scope focal length. See SGP manual (PDF file), p. 58 - 61.

It would be reasonable to save this to the Equipment Profile.

Thanks for pointing it out. It is strange that CCDI can find scale on some of my images (from different sessions) but not some others. And I have never fooled around with this setting, as you can see.
