Flat box doesn't turn off

Good morning,

I use a Wanderer Astro Flip Flat panel.
When I start a sequence of flat panels, at the end of the sequence the Flat panel stays on and I have to remember to turn it off. Can you check?

I believe this issue has been around for a long time, at least for me. For my workaround, I follow my flats with a bias frame. Once the bias frame starts the flat panel turns off. Not sure if this is the same issue as what I experience but following my flats with bias always turns my flat panel off.

Yes, it’s a problem that’s been around for a long time, but I never posted a topic until today.

Thanks for this trick, I’ll give it a try.

If this is an issue, we’ll absolutely fix it… Im just not aware of it. Typically “closing” the flatbox shutter (in quotes becomes sometimes closing is manual placement etc) is typically associated with extinguishing the light. Is this option ticked for your sequence:

In my profile settings, I set the flat panel to close after the mount has parked. However, it’s not a settings issue here. It simply doesn’t turn off the light when it runs flats with the flat panel closed.

I can see how this might happen… SGPro is likely skipping the flatbox because it is already closed. I’ll take a look.
