Help with FlipFlat

I just bought an Alnitak FlipFlat with Chris White’s excellent 270° modification.

I have installed the Optec driver. SGP’s Control Panel opens and closes the FlipFlat, turns it on and off and adjusts its brightness.

Unfortunately I cannot get it to work in a sequence. When I set up a Flat event in a sequence SGP closes the FlipFlat and takes images but it doesn’t turn on the the FlipFlat.

I’m certain I’ve missed a setup step and would appreciate any suggestions.

I honestly do not know how the new AutoFlats work and set the brightness and duration for the flats. As I only do flats, perhaps once a month on my fixed set up…I still use the flats calibration wizard. Even if you don’t use the wizard - you can enter duration and flat panel brightness manually …the following screenshots will show you where.
