Description
I am currently evaluating SGPro and have found it quite useful. However, the biggest issues I encounter are mostly to do with the mount location. I have no trouble connecting to and controlling the mount via the HEQ6 ASCOM device in SGPro, but SGPro won’t display the mount’s pointing location in the control panel, and doesn’t provide hints to the plate solver, leading to slow blind solves. I am using an AZ-EQ6 GT via EQDirect, with latest ASCOM platform and EQMOD. Other software (e.g. APT) has no trouble receiving the mount location info via ASCOM.
I’m not sure if it’s a software bug or a configuration issue. Please advise.
