Hyperstar, Phd and Filter change

Hello, I am wondering how I can use SG with my Hyperstar with a filter Cage for one filter. Using additionally PhD I Need after the first light session to stop or Pause it, to Position the scope horizontally, so that I can change the filter, an then resuming the Position to start the next Lights, and so on.

Also for the flats I would use this procedure, so do you have a receipe for that?

Yours sincerely,

Alexander

You can define a manual filter wheel in SGP, it will then stop the sequence at the relevant point and prompt you to change the filter. You can then swap the filter in the filter drawer. Why would you need to position the OTA horizontally to do that? Even if too high a small ladder would probably suffice. Changing the OTA position will require slewing and solving to get your object correctly framed again, which could be difficult if you have just placed a narrowband filter.
