I have been successfully using SGP 3.1.0.544 on my Astro-Physics 100GTO mount. I can connect to that mount simultaneously with SGP, PHD2, and SNP7. I am used to doing that as part of my imaging sessions However, I am now trying to do the same with my 14" Meade LX200GPS. I can only get this mount to connect to one of those three software packages at a time. Any of the three software packages can connect to the mount just fine using ASCOM. But, I cannot connect to the mount simultaneously using any two of these software packages. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Is this normal, or am I possibly doing something wrong?

You may have to use something like the ASCOM Device Hub to connect to the mount and then have the applications connect to the Hub. I don’t believe Meade has written their ASCOM driver to support simultaneous connections, which is unfortunate.
There may also be some 3rd party ASCOM drivers out there for the Meade as well.
