Mirror lockup for Canon 500d

Can I use mirror lockup on a Canon 500d in SGP and if so how do I set the antivibration pause between the mirror going up and the shutter opening ?

I guess it’s not possible then. Shame as I find it a very useful feature in APT for several reasons. 1) the antivibration function and 2) it gives me a few seconds notice that the shutter is about to open allowing me to turn off the computer screen to reduce the ambient light.

This is currently available in the 2.4 beta. Just look in the Canon settings. You have to enable it on your camera too.
