NEW-B GCUsb-nStep focus controler not working

Hi,
I’m new to SGP and juts down loaded it and tried it out last night. I wanted to use the Autofocus feature and selected GCUSB-nstep focuser. However SGP complained that it currently doesn’t support relative focuser. I thought that the GCUSB-nSTEP was a absolute controller?

Am I missing something?

THanks
Nor

Don’t have my system in front of me, but my recollection is that you need to go into the GCUSB-nstep settings dialog and click on the checkbox for Absolute Focuser.

Hi,

You are absolutely correct. I found it yesterday after Jared pointed it
out.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll give it a try next time.

Cheers

I use the same GCUSB focuser …once it is set up it works great…use with a Bahtinov Mask first to get close though and save yourself a lot of aggravation .

HI Dennis

Yup that sounds good, Just got to wait for the clouds to disappear
