New install ASTAP database setup question

Newly setup system, all updated OS, SGP, ASTAP. In the “Plate solving chain” dialog, I have ASTAP (native) checked and the d50 database in the same directory. However, the dialog says “no catalogs”. [ASTAP] is not checked, but it says “ready”. It is unclear what this chain dialog means!? Can you have multiple items checked? If “no catalogs” is indicated, does it still work? Can I check both ASTAPs? Thanks
