Not connecting to filter wheel for darks sequence

Using 4.4.0.1302 beta

When running a sequence with only “darks” events, the filter wheel was not connected. Anyone else getting this?

Isn’t it expected behavior, as filters don’t influence darks ?

That is a good point! However, I often try to match the filter anyway, especially for ‘flat darks’. Yes, perhaps over-the-top.

My only other observation on that … if SGP is going to commit to not recognizing filter when taking darks, then perhaps the filter option in the target entry should turn grey/unresponsive once ‘dark’ is selected as the Type? And, if there is a filter wheel in play anyway, does SGP accurately know and record the filter in the file naming?

Flats will need the proper filter but neither flat darks nor darks need to match the filters as far as I know.
